I screwed up my korean oral today.. *sob sob*...

The oral got 3 sections. The first section is a reading passage. It was ok but becos i too nervous, i made quite a number of mistakes. Second section is picture description and last section is conversation. These two are worse. Hahahaha. Some i did not say in the correct sentence structure. Too nervous that i forgot how the sentence structure shld be like. In the end she have to prompt me. Think i also use wrong grammar and stuff.

On top of that. I hear the questions wrongly. Hahaha. She ask "when did u go to the amusement park?" I thought she ask "did u go to the amusement park yesterday?" Then i answer "No, i did not go yesterday." Cos in Korean, "when" and "yesterday" is very similar. Hahahaha. Then she had to tell me in english that she asking "when". hahahaha.

I think she a bit disappointed with me.. hahahaha. Let's hope tat i can pass the oral.

It has been a busy week for me and my groupmates. All because of project. Let me tell u the story. hahaha

The report is due on Thursday. But then we are conducting an interview with a manager on that week's monday (the purpose of the interview is to do the report). So no choice. Got to rush this report out, Here is a timeline:

Monday: after the interview, i went to sch for class and after class i have to leave for tuition while my groupmates stayed to do the report. After my tuition (which is around 9pm), i went back to sch to join them. We worked till 12.30am tat day. And by the time i got home, my family is already asleep.

Tuesday: after lesson, we continue to stay in school till 4.30am! Can u believe this???

Wednesday: After having slept for only 5 hrs, i got to go to sch again. (T_T). I skipped the morning lesson (my mum very anxious. asked me if it is impt and is it ok to skip tat lesson. hahaha. Told her "not impt and is ok to skip" when in fact is "quite impt and not very ok to skip it") and was late for the afternoon one. so no choice had to take taxi. Then at night continue to do until 4.30am. (2 consecutive days... wah.. nearly want my life). But this time round we do our own parts at home. Then my sis saw me and the first thing she said to me was "eh! long time no see." *sob sob*

Thursday: i intend to go to sch at 7am. but slept at 4.30am last night. Really cannot wake up. i dun even noe if my alarm clock went off or not. Then my fren called me.. I am suppose to meet her at 10.30 in sch to continue to edit the report! And when she called me, it is near 11 liao. hahaha. super late. got to take a taxi to school. I think i am going poorer le. 

But nvm. Everything is more or less over le. jus have to tahan for another week then we will be more relax. =)

I am going crazy crazy crazy crazy... Over wat?? Over project lor. My core module project is killing me.

Submission date is supposedly this Tuesday, 21st October 08. But heng our professor is willing to extend it till Thursday instead. And we are so grateful for this extension. Let me tell you why.

For this project, we are suppose to interview 2 organisations and then do a report on them. The manager of 1 organisation is super friendly and my grp is very grateful for his help. However, we are not so lucky with the other organisation (Sorry, not able to disclose the organisation's name. *hush hush*). About 2 months ago, we emailed our interview questions to this organisation and requested a face-to-face interview. The manager replied that it would be impossible and say they would reply through email. So left with no choice, we agreed lor. We called many times to check on their progress and whether they have any questions but all they reply us is' "no" and "it will be done soon". And abt 1 week ago, we finally received their reply! BUT! It's too early to be happy. Cos they say they dun understand some of the questions and might need a face-to-face interview. Wat!!! Worse of all, they suggested meeting next week. Our report deadline is next tues and u wanna meet next week? Might as well tell us meet next year.

This makes me super angry la. 3 reasons.

ONE: We gave them 2 months time to reply to the mail. I think it should be more than enough. Even if u are super busy. Do they have to drag until the last min then reply us?

TWO: Initially we wanted a face-to-face they say cannot. Now they request for a face-to-face. Haiz. dunno what to say abt them la.

THREE: We called them so many times to ask whether they have any difficulties understanding the questions, they replied "no". But now, they reply to say they dun understand.

But anyway, we managed to secure an interview on Monday. Then still got 3 days to pia the report. So now u noe why we are so grateful for the extension.

Haiz. 3 days to pia report. Possible? I dunno. That's y i say i am going crazy. And i think i am super crazy to be blogging here instead of writing the report for the other organisation. Haha. JIA YOU AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I still cannot see the lights at the end of the tunnel. Everything is so dark and seriously, i am getting very worried and scared....

But anyway, i got wonderful teammates. They are all very cooperative and some are very funny. Sometimes i wonder how come they all so comical?

#1 comical friend: Yimei. She is the ultimate. Sometimes her actions are hilarious. Her latest act... better dun say, Later spoil her image. Haha...

#2 comical friend: Yixin. She is the evil twin of yimei. Both the same pattern. They are the funniest when the 2 of them interact.

#3 comical friend: BB. He can think of jokes on the spot. His jokes bring the team closer i guess.

Yoz! I am back into action. Busy with projects. Now at TCC in Millenia Walk doing project presentation. Guess the time now.. It's 9:16pm and we are still working on it. Guess we can't finish all that needs to be done by today. Still left with 1 case analysis to do. Hahaha. But nvm... We can make it de! È­ÀÌÆÃ!!!! (For those that cannot read korean. It writes "fighting"! hahaha)

Other than modular projects, we are so behind schedule for FYP too. In the end we had to organise a FYP camp to do some catching up. Hahaha. It is a 3 days 2 nights camp.We worked till late into the night and wake up early to continue. Tiring sia.

Busy reading the articles we have found. They are so 'chim' lor. Struggling to finish all of them. Then we also have the data analysis to do. The data generated was so much that when we printed them out, it was an amazing 300 plus pages!! Haiz... Later we found out that we made some mistakes in running the analyses. (@_@) Had to redo the analyses!

Hello everyone! I am back!!

I've got good news to announce. On 16 June 2008, my niece was born!! I've got a niece! So exciting! heehee.. Her name is Elanor. Nice rite? I personally like it very much. =) She is a very heavy baby weighing at 3.4kg! wow... My mum say none of us (my siblings and me) is as heavy as her. But she still look very tiny lei... Haha. Maybe she got heavy bones. But overall she is very pretty. Jus like her mum. Her father also very handsome. Guess positive + positive = Positive. Hahaha.

Jus met up with my polymates. Still the same old them. Haha. Meet up only to take photos. Whole day snap here snap there. Sooooooooo busy la. Haven unzip the photos yet so cannot post them up. Heehee.

My internship is going to end soon. Can't wait for the 2 weeks break that is approaching.. I really need a break so that i can slp very very very late everyday. haha. Due to lack of slp, i am sick now. Body not enough rest. But nvm, I very strong one. Wahahahaha.

Hello!!! Finally my days of being a "sai gang warrior" are over. Today my manager explained to me the project that i am gonna help her with. It may sounds easy but not really... A lot of research work to do and she said something that stress me even further. She say she came across many interns that help her a lot and hope that i can also be a great help to her. (-_-|||) Make me so worried now. Scared that i cannot perform up to her expectations. Look at me la. Suppose to do research now but ended up blogging. How can perform well and meet her expectations?! Hahaha.

My office got a very funny and cute cleaning auntie. She will always come to our room to clean up at around 2 in the afternoon. As we are archiving some documents for the past 2 weeks, we throw away many files that cannot be used anymore le. So maybe one afternoon we can throw away about 10 to 15 files. So she will take a huge black garbage bag, put all the files in and carry it out of the office. Looking from behind her, we told her that she looks like a santa, except that she is in blue and not red. Lol. Therefore, everyday she see us she will ask, "Today still got presents or not?" Hahaha. She call the files "presents". I cannot remember what we did that day but she suddenly said this, "Dun angry ar. U angry, I hungry. I hungry, I cry." Weird right. She seems to be very worried that we will be angry. This is not the first time she ask us not to be angry le. But seriously... We are not angry at all. She is a very nice lady auntie and she is very hardworking too. Maybe she had some bad experiences ba. She is recently on leave i think. The new auntie very quiet. Dun interact one. Hahaha. Anyway, it's not my business la.

[*Wave*] I am back to blogging. hahaha... Now on attachment loh.. The people there are very very nice and friendly. Love working there except doing administrative work. Luckily this is only temporary one. Next week gonna start on some projects.. Yeah! Finally got some hands-on.

My birthday is approaching! And my friends and siblings keep asking me what i wan for birthday. Seriously... I also dunno. (T.T) Hahaha. Think until my head hurts.  Let's see what i need now. I need a new pair of heels (preferably kitten heels.) Cos got 2 pairs of high heels and then wear until leg pain. Only got myself to blame (Pi gu yang mah. LOL). I am also thinking of buying a new pair of jeans (wanna try skinny jeans but i guess my fat legs dun allow me to do so. :p). I also need a new wardrobe cos the one at home is too small to contain all clothes. I also wan a new CPU and lastly i need a new camera. That's all. I noe the last 3 is a bit expensive for u all to buy for me. Nvm, i very "flexible" one. If you dunno wad to buy, you can transfer some money (ang pow) to my bank account. Hahaha. No limit to the amount. Hehehe... Just joking la. I am fine with anything or even nothing. Just remember to wish me happy birthday hor. Hahaha.

Wah!!!!! Me haven update for so long le. Busy with projects. Finally it's time for a 3 months break.

Starting my professional attachement (PA) next monday le. This means that i gonna start working again. Haiz. Let's hope that it is a peaceful internship. (^o^) Cos i heard stories of "not so good" PA companies. The company i'm attached to is 1st time participating in our sch's PA Program. So dun have much info on it. But overall i am still excited about it. Cos this is the 1st time i am going to work in the Human Resource (HR) department. Yeah! Finally doing stuff that i major in. In poly i am attached to M1 to do customer service when i am studying HR. No link one. Haha..

My house computer is giving me problems again. Ask people to come fix it also no use lei... Think i gonna buy a new CPU. I also wanna get a new camera too. Sianz. Looks like my pocket will burn a BIG hole. And the worse thing is... I was recently pronounced unemployed. Haha. Last wed my tutees' mom smsed me to say that she wanna stop all tuition le. Just when i need money, she do this to me... (T.T).
Hmmm... Maybe i shd be like my fren. During her birthday, she got all her friends to transfer some money into her bank a/c so that she can buy a new wardrobe. Maybe i can do this hor??? Worth considering for the sake of my camera and CPU. (^o^) But still, it's best to find another tutee. LOL.

Today i had a surprise 21st belated birthday party!! Woohoo... Actually i sort of knew it beforehand cos my youngest cousin accidentally blurted it out a few days ago. LOL. However, i'm still thankful to all who have planned this surprise party. Thank you. Every people will have a birthday wish on their birthday. So i wish that everyone around me will be healthy, happy, safe and sound!!! But this is not enough. I'm gonna wish everyone 1-by-1. It's gonna be a VERY LONG list. Hahaha.
